Eye of the Tiger

A true form of action within the great force of “Time” is only in the present. There is past and future also, but these do not happen. The past affects us now, but it does not disallow room for us to decide our own final action. Future hasn’t happened yet, and some possibilities are likely, but again the present is where we have a choice to steer towards different possibilities. An eye focused on the present, with consideration of past and future, is of untold value.

The eye of the tiger, a fighter, the blood of a Saiyan warrior, is concerned with the fight at hand, here and now – not making depressed excuses from the past, nor being vain and claiming to know the certainty of the future. With a focus, an eye, on the present, these fighters draw forth their power, not wasting it by having focus drift away, either too far back or too far forward.

Focus on one day at a time, one hour, one minute, one moment. Now, time is broken down again and again, until its heartbeat, the present, is connected with. We train ourselves to focus there, and to there put our hands to work with all our might, keeping our concerns aimed towards ourselves and our company, and not stopping until the day is at an end.

Keep your eye on the present.
